디자이너가 말하는 가장 아름다운 자동차?

올해 초에 발표된 아우디의 New A5는 폭스바겐 그룹의 수석 디자이너인 발터드 실바 자신이 디자인한 차 중 가장 아름답고
완벽하다고 말하는 디자인을 가진 차입니다.

예술가들은 대부분 자신의 작품을 완벽하다고 하지 않습니다. 그런 디자이너가 스스로 나르시즘에 빠질만큼 아름다운 차 New A5는 절제된 선과 우아함 그리고 날렵한 느낌을 가진 정말 더할게 없고 더 뺄것이 없은 아름다운 차라고 생각합니다.

이런 New A5가 아우디의 창립 100주년 기념 행사에서 New Audi A5 Sportback)로 또 다른 모습으로 공개됐습니다. 5도어의 쿠페타입으로 '쿠페의 감성과 세단의 편안함 그리고 왜건의 실용성'이라는 세마리 토끼를 잡으려는 괴물로 탄생했습니다. 쿠페에 5도어라니 무슨 말도 안되는 디자인이 나올까 New A5를 망치는 구나라 생각했습니다만 이녀석 괜히 100주년 기념 행사에서 발표한게 아니였습니다. 완벽함을 추구하는 디자인과 성능의 아우디에 박수를 쳐봅니다.

이 아름다운 괴물은 각 3종류의 TDI와 FSI 총 6종류의 엔진을 탑재하고 있으며 제로백 8.7초와 최고속도 228km/h와 강력한 성능을자랑합니다. 사실 가장 탐나는 부분은 19.2km/l의 높은 연비입니다. 거의 하이브리드 카 수준이네요. 정말 괴물입니다.ㅎㄷㄷ. 또한 5도어 쿠페 타입이라 기존 2도어였던 New Audi A5를 망설이던 구매 층에 좋은 모델인 듯 합니다. 5도어도 이렇게 아름답고 쿠페스럽게 나올 수 있군요.^^;
